Most people have it on the left, for which reason I do not know but I do know that if you ever get to scootering, dumping from the right arm and scootering will be something very interesting to watch
Last week I watched movie with Casey McKinaly scootering in the cave. He has dump-valve on their right arm, and I cannot see any problems with dumping air during scootering.
