It's a great book - balanced strength/cardio/flexibility program - but TBH if you think about ti and work it out with a trainer at a gym - you could come up with something similar.

I'm not a swim fan - so some of it doesn't work for me.. the three most boring activities in the world are (in reverse order) -

3) Running
2) Gym/Weights
1) Swimming Lengths

Guess you have to do some of them though!

The book's just a short-cut.. I'm on a program too - but mine's to avoid the need for a pregnancy gusset in my drysuit... the first winter in Europe for 16 years hasn't been kind... Good luck with the increased fitness - it DOES help.
