| The focusable head gives a much tighter beam than the fixed 6 degree version, hence the brighter spot. It's the most popular torch amongst those in the Plymouth DIR group.
2 of our guys have the fixed version and find it works ok, they also spend less time faffing/focusing their lights during a dive, but those with the focus version do have slightly clearer signals.
