Bob, great video and again, wonderful accompanying music.

Something I don't understand from watching all these videos -- and I am not a cave diver and nowhere near getting there yet -- is that the divers are single file, but they don't seem to keep their lights out in front of the diver ahead so that diver knows where they are. How do you keep track of your buddies in that situation, if you are shining your light right in front of you?
Single file isn't a very practical way of diving, especially where the halocline ruins the visibility. Sometimes, the cave is small enough to dictate single file.

Remember that what you are seeing in video is not "real world". There is a guy behind the camera with twin 50W HID lights lighting up the cave, everybody knows they are being filmed and some shots are deliberately stage managed. The walls would normally be much darker when there are no video lights.

And yes, Brian is right on the money with the moving of the lights, you do that far more in cave and it makes it far easier to kep track of the person behind.

You kind of "tune-in" to people's style of diving after a few cave dives, and of course you talk about the dive afterwards.
