| Hi,
Cultural differences aside, the problem I have with the "OK" sign is that too many divers use it inappropriately. For example I signal to my buddy that it's time to move up to the next stop. He/she answers "ok". Does this mean that they understood my signal? or are they just letting me know that they feel good?
Always remember that command signals must be answered by repeating the signal; this is the only way to acknowledge our understanding of the signal.
