Yazzy, you will also find that if you type the word in without the use of quotes or stars then the word is blocked out.

As has been said on YD and probably here, the only times that most DIR divers use the word str0ke is to describe another DIR diver who is being a kn0b or doing something not quite right (but not dangerous); it is said in jest and no malice is intended.

Like any group that is out there, a language or slang develops and people get used to it. When people see Garf, Howard and I at a dive site, they think we are about to kick off and have fight - nothing could be further from the truth (although Howard can be a tw@t at times ) it is just the way we get on.

If David had used the word maliciously then we would have had a word with him, or edited the post ourselves (Mods) directly.
