| I only took my small 3' oral inflate smb with me to the redsea. I deployed it just before surfacing on each dive. There is no way I would surface on some of the dive sites like elphinstone without one - way too many zodiacs flying about.
The only time I might have needed a larger one was on a dive on the Brothers when we were put in the wrong place and therefore surfaced where we weren't expected, all 4 of us deployed once on the surface. |
