Hi
I next few days I'd like to order new DUI TLS350 (Signature Series) dry suit. And I have few questions:
1) Should I take Latex or Neoprene neck seal ?
2) Which kind of wirst seals I should take - classic or heavy-duty ?
3) Is standard Apeks inlet valve is ok ?
4) Which zipper should I take classic or QuickZip ?
5) What other options I should take ? I also want Turbo-Soles, High-Profile Apeks exhaust valve and CF200 knee pads.
Thanks,
See below specs for SS TLS350, these specs are very popular here in Oz with the DIR/ GUE divers (see DUI measuring chart). As already mentioned by others make sure you mention size of undergarment i.e. 200 or 400. - Old style design. Colour on torso extends down to wrist
- Standard telescoping torso
- Crotch strap
- Old style diagonal zip (no quick zip) with outer zip guard
- Zip seals neck and wrist
- Turbo Soles – Under cut by 5mm
- Old style Apeks exhaust valve
- Apeks LP swivel inlet valve
- Warm neck collar
- Buttocks overlay
- Crotch reinforcement
- Knee pads (small CF200)
- Internal suspenders
- Drysuit bag
- (Pockets/ Pea Valve – Halcyon. Installed once you receive drysuit)

I would ask for more movement in the arms or just fudge my own mearsurements a little for more movement.
Make sure u specify the largest undergarment u will wear eg. 400 as they will bulk it out even if %80 of your dives are in a 200g
good luck it is like getting a new car so many options so many opinions
It’s unfortunate that you have to consider fudging the measurements; I have a custom made/ signature series TLS 350 and it doesn’t fit me.
Very tight around the arms (girth) and I feel restricted around my shoulder area when moving my arms. I sent it back and they made the necessary changes to the arms, as it was a tapering problem of the arms to the zip seals when they made the suit. They sent the suit back to me last week and I went for a dive on the weekend to test the suit, unfortunately it has only improved by 5% - 10%. Looks like I need to send the suit back again!!!
In hindsight I think I would have fudged the shoulder and arm measurements (why?) I'll let everyone know how I go with getting this resolved. (And yes the measurements are correct, they have been triple checked and confirmed etc.. this isn’t my first custom made suit or undergarment etc…) Cheers, Rich
