There's an Apeks seller on ebay that will get me a DS4 DIN, ATX50 and ATX40 for $485. That sounds like a pretty good deal. Any opinions?
I was thinking what my DIR-F instructor told us about always having the adjustable regulator all the way open- the idea being, "why would you ever want to de-tune your regs peformance while breathing on it"?
Well if that's the case, why wouldn't I want the ATX40 as the PRIMARY since there's no adjustment to worry about, and ATX50 as the backup since that's the time to have a reg detuned so I don't have the embarrasing post-giant stride-boiling water freeflow under my chin when jumping off the dive boat? |
