Why bother, I got over 12 years on my old Grey Uwatec bottomtimers before they died. As soon as I get my 2 of the new ones, my Vyper goes on Ebay and I'll be a happy camper again.
Assuming the new ones will also last 12 years, it comes out to about $15.00 a year per bottomtimer, which is very reasonable. What wasn't reasonable was having to get a Vyper 2 years ago with it's miserable display just to have a bottom timer that works deeper than 100M. I'll be glad to see it go.
