I'd like to say a huge thankyou to all the folks on that trip for babywsitting me on my first DIR trip. It's a bit daunting getting on a boat with people with that level of skills for the first time.
Rick was a suberb partner on the Hispania, despite the comms cockups which led to me throwing myself into every hold on her :D
He omits the swim through that I bottled though, but after seeing him inch his way through a very tight gap flawlessly I know I made the right decision, I wouldn't have looked half as good.
Willo, Jen and Dave D, you were just your normal fabulously supportive selves and for that I thank you.
