Well.. that's really a hard one. Because you can't really find out how many people are diving and you really need to know that before you can say anything about how dangerous it is.
If 70 000 children between 5 - 14 were using a trampolin then i would say that it's very dangerous, but if the number was 10 million I would say that it's very safe.
Maybe some national organization could gather how many fills clubs and divecenters do every year, that would give you a good idea of how many people are diving.
