G'day All,
I'm just starting my exploration of DIR diving. I started with PADI, switched to SSI and now i'm looking to join the DIR team. I like to train harder than i play and practice a lot. I played ice-hockey for a long time and have worked as a professional trombone player so i have learnt the value of training to increase performance.
I saw that Australia has its firt DIR instructor in Sydney, so i'm keen to meet them and begin the DIR courses.
I'm currently in the process of changing my equipment. My current rig is a mess and needs to be seriously overhalled. I'm looking at a Dive Rite Harness, plate and Rec wing to be used with singles and sometimes with doubles. Opinions? How does Dive Rite gear compare with Halcyon?
