These might be a bit advanced but good for bouyancy control practice are the following three exercises (taught to me by Fred Devos)

1. Stick a pencil in the ground (or prefereable slightly off it, eg a ledge) then place a finger lightly on the tip of the pencil and try to hold station without moving postion (you can gently fin foward and back to correct).

2. As above, except keep your nose resting on the pencil (this is quite a bit more difficult).

3. find some smallish pebbles/rocks and try to balance them one on top of the other using one hand. If your bouyancy and positioning isn't spot on its very easy to keep knocking your pile over.
