Seriously ....
There are a couple of decent known wrecks in the T1 range, that are dived regularly.
I’m sure there are many more “secret” ones that only a handful of guys know about but won’t tell anybody else.
And a lot more just waiting to be found – there must be !!! - even considering that it drops deep pretty close to shore, and that the winter storms will hammer any structure – I just keep reminding myself that Portugal has a very long maritime history and has always had major ports … so lots of work to be done !
A couple of us are searching for and identifying wrecks in Galiza, Spain (OK, it’s not Portugal per se, but it’s just north of the border !
).
The (few) caves that exist are also deep !
